pH and Your Body

What is pH?

pH stands for "Potential of Hydrogen".

A pH scale measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is. If the substance is balanced, it is considered neutral. The scale is measured from 0 (acidic) to 14 (alkaline). The human body needs to about 7.4 on this scale.

How Do We Achieve 7.4?

Everything around you has a chance of sending the pH in the body out of balance. Things that can affect this are; foods, drinks, environment, exercise, stress, toxins, etc. If your body becomes imbalanced, it will put the body at risk of disease. When your body becomes too acidic, it will use water, potassium, magnesium, and calcium stored to help restore balance.

To ensure we can stay in the healthy range on the pH scale, we want to eat a balanced diet and give the body the minerals it needs to balance. Here's how to do that!

Increase your diet to 70% alkaline foods.

Change Lifestyle Habits

    • Exercise
    • Deep Breathing
    • Prayer
    • Massage Therapy
    • Dry Brushing

Add Alkalizing Supplements if Needed

Next Steps

There are many other symptoms and illnesses that are related to pH balance. It is always a good idea to get your pH checked either at a doctor's office or with a kit that can be ordered online (link below). If experiencing any of these symptoms, it will not always mean your pH is out of balance, there could be other underlying issues.
